$130k Manufacturing Readiness Grant Awarded to AMPG by Conexus Indiana

 

AMPG has been awarded a $130k manufacturing grant to automate and enhance an in house parts washing process. Parts washing takes place after each manufacturing run at one parts washing machine located central to AMPG machines. Parts are manufactured on a machine in the AMPG shop and then manually delivered to the one parts washing machine for the washing process. The grant money awarded to AMPG by Conexus Indiana will be used to build a system where parts are washed directly at the machines.

In 2022, AMPG was awarded a $30k manufacturing grant for the automation of oil distribution to individual machines. The $30k grant awarded by Conexus was used to streamline the process for distributing oil to each individual machine. In the past, employees would manually deliver oil to each machine. With the grant money, a new system was built to pipe and pump oil directly to each machine.
